Wembley Stadium with it's capacity of nearly 80,000 was alway regarded as the home of football, known the world over for it's famous twin towers it was visited by thousands of football fans every year. But with England playing their last international at the famous old stadium against Germany in 2000 it was closed down and the re-building took 7 years to complete.
