MINI REPORT
England’s shambolic qualification campaign is over after they produced a hapless display losing 3-2 to Croatia at Wembley. The game was as good as over after fifteen minutes as a howler from Scott Carson and calamity defending gifted Croatia a dream 2-0 start. England did manage to get back into the game with a Frank Lampard penalty and a well taken goal from Peter Crouch but then threw it away again when some more poor defending allowed Croatia to seal the win.

Not good enough through-out the twelve games but tonight was a new low!

Steve McClaren's last game in charge as England manager.
