This cup was played in the Summer of 1991, it was a three team tournament involving England, USSR and Argentina. The crowds were poor, only 23,789 turned up for England's opening game against USSR at Wembley. Captain Gary Lineker did pick up the 'Challenge Cup' for winning the competition.
